A SPECIAL MESSAGE

Regarding COVID-19

Dear IPT/ICT Families,

As always, we remain highly committed to providing a safe environment for our clients and staff. We will be re-opening our clinic starting on Monday, May 18th, with new protocols in place to ensure everyones safety.

We are taking our time to ensure the safety of our community by slowly building up to full capacity. Our therapists will be available on designated days in the clinic to allow for social distancing and the ability to maintain appropriate safety & cleaning protocols.

Please call our office at 972-404-3077 to talk to one of our wonderful administrators or speak with your therapist about the process of transitioning back into the clinic. Due to the success of our Telehealth program we will continue to offer this to our clients as an ongoing program as well.

We will be providing any updates or changes to protocols and therapy implementation as more is revealed about the current situation.

Thank you very much.
Sally & the IPT team

What happens during a concussion

A concussions takes place when the head is violently shaken, torsioned or involved in a high impact event. When this happens, the soft brain tissue collides with the hard surface of the skull and sets up a cascade of events damaging the brain. Since the brain is so complex, the results can be highly unpredictable and can cause a variety of short and long term physical, mental and emotional problems.
